Gwenna Sue Shown age 68 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025. She loved the Lord and was a member of Grantsboro Baptist Church. She was a great wife, mom, mamaw, sister and friend. Preceded in death by Parents: Lewis and Ann Sharp, Brother: Gary Sharp.

Husband: Steven Shown

Daughter: Kendra (Scotty) Hatfield, and daughter Raegan Hatfield

Step-Daughters: Stephanie (Vernon) Young, Amanda Shown, Sarah (Richard) Dacus

A host of Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren

Sister: Dean and Jerry Miller

Brother: Terry and Robin Sharp

Sister-in-Law: Carol Sharp

Nephews: Anthony and Errick Sharp, their family and children

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday, August 29, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 pm in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. David Goins and Rev. Derrick Hembree Officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 am on Saturday, August 30th, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Grantsboro Cemetery for 11 am Interment.
