Several events take place from 10am until noon on the JHS campus
JELLICO, TN (WLAF)- Two 18 wheelers full of food will roll up and park in the parking lot in front of Jellico High School on Saturday morning. Compassion Ministries teams with Mission of Hope to distribute food on Saturday from 10am to noon. Simply drive-up for a fill-up of food in the trunk of your vehicle.
Representatives from Save the Babies will be on hand offering free diapers, baby food, clothes and more for new born babies. A free flu shot clinic will be set up hosted by Walgreens.
In the back, between the high school and the football field, a Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed build will take place. “We’re going to build 30 beds in our first build at Jellico. These beds will go to children in and around Jellico,” said Bill Thompson with SHP.
