Folks getting scam calls posing as police

JACSKBORO, TN (WLAF)- Folks around Campbell County started getting phone calls on Saturday asking for money for outstanding warrants, according the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office. “Please be advised that the CCSO will never contact you by telephone to collect money on an outstanding warrant,” said one CCSO official.

If you receive such a call asking for payment, it is a scam. The CCSO cautions you to not share personal information, and do not send any money.
