$15 car wash at the Blue Hippo with every service

LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Whether you need custom exhaust work, just an oil change or general automotive repair from top to bottom, Exhausted Muffler and Auto Repair is the place to go. Currently the newly opened automotive repair shop is offering free $15 car washes at the Blue Hippo with every service.

Services offered include custom exhausts, full service and auto repair, oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, exhaust work, AC services, water pumps, alternators, batteries, suspensions, general routine maintenance, engine and transmission replacement and more.

Exhausted Muffler & Auto Repair is locally owned and operated by Matt Wright and Nick Smith. The business is located at 611 W. Beech Street, in LaFollette in the old Pete’s Body Shop building. 

Exhausted Muffler & Auto Repair is locally owned and operated by Nick Smith and Matt Wright. The pair opened their business on March 1.  It was a dream come true for both to “own their own automotive repair shop.”

Between the two of them, they have over 20 years of exhaust and automotive repair experience.

The pair said the first three weeks had “been amazing” and that they could not thank the public and their customers enough for supporting them in their business endeavor.

“The growth we have seen in three weeks is unbelievable, we are so thankful for everyone’s support,” Smith said.

“We’re not trying to get rich, we just want to earn a living, take care of our families and provide affordable services to our community,” Wright said.

They both gave the “glory to God” for making their dream a reality. The idea to start the business happened in January and fast-forward three months and the shop doors are open.

It took a lot of support from family and most of all, “faith in God”, which is a “cornerstone” of their business model.

“When we started this business, we stepped out on our faith and said Lord, ‘it’s in your hands’ and He has made this a reality. I believe with all my heart that God had a hand in helping us open up this shop,” Smith said.
