Law enforcement continues looking for suspect

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A man driving erratically was spotted by La Follette Police early Tuesday afternoon. Those actions prompted an LPD officer to attempt a traffic stop on the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle ignored the officer’s effort and fled from police through town turning up North Indiana Avenue and soon onto Ivydale Road.

The suspect eventually abandoned his vehicle and ran from police on foot.

Officers with La Follette Police, Campbell Sheriff’s Office and an air unit searched for hours unable to locate the suspect in the mountainous terrain. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-03/26/2025-6AM)
