CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. (WLAF)- Tremors have been felt across the region this morning. A small earthquake was registered at 4.1 at 9:04am.

 The quake was reported to have been felt within an 87- 373 mi distance, a few isolated cases were felt as far as 870 miles, according to semiologists. Just over 700 people have reported feeling the shaking.

The quake originated around Blount County. It was reported as a shallow quake. No damage has been reported yet.

  2. Everything was shaking in my brother’s house in Halls. He had to grab one of his antique lamps to keep it from shaking apart!

    The East Tennessee Seismic Zone is real. Back when I was an emergency manager for the Air Guard at McGhee-Tyson, we stayef prepped for the earthquake threat to our assets. I wonder how the airport fared?

    I remember one when I was in high school 1958 or 59.
    It shook books out of the book shelves in the library. Made library tables walk.
