Wildfires around Campbell County are 100% contained

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- One wildfire at Caryville and the other along the Campbell-Claiborne County line are 100% contained.

At 10:01pm Thursday, the wildfire along and near old Highway 63 outside Caryville, was determined to be 100% contained. That fire burned 200 acres.

Along the Campbell-Claiborne line at Rock Creek Ridge Road is where another wildfire is now classified as 100% contained. That report came in at 11:47pm Thursday. This fire burned 250 acres. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-03/14/2025-6AM-GRAPHIC COURTESY OF TENNESSEE FIRE RESPONSE)
