Daniel “Dan” Ray Marsee, age 72 of LaFollette, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at his home. He was born on January 8, 1953, to the late Walter Ray “Red” Marsee and Mary Kathleen Kennedy. Dan was loved by everyone and loved spending time with his family and friends. He also worked extremely hard selling cars and living life to its fullest and on his own terms.

He is survived by his loving sons Andy Marsee and wife Melissa of LaFollette and Cory Marsee and wife Shannon of LaFollette; sister Sabrina Marsee; grandchildren Madison, Dylan, Raegan, Gavin, and Caden Marsee; special friends Bill Lewis and Tammy Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Leon Fritts and Rev. Kenny Allen officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:00 AM on June 27, 2025, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go to the funeral procession to Jones Cemetery for a 10:00 AM interment.

The family has entrusted the care of Daniel “Dan” Ray Marsee to Martin Wilson Funeral Home “Where Families Matter Most.”

  1. He was a good man. In his younger days, he was a heck of a good football player. Barbara says “Yes” to both comments. RIP.
