
JELLICO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- On Friday, May 15, the Jellico High School Alumni Association awarded $1,000 scholarships to two very deserving Jellico High School Seniors.
The first scholarship was awarded to Chloe Creekmore. She is the daughter of Joel and Paula Creekmore, and one of the JHS Top 10 for 2026. She has been a dual enrollee at the University of the Cumberlands and plans to complete the LPN Program at TCAT.
Trey Vann was awarded the second scholarship. He is the son of Lonnie Vann, Jr. and Adora Vann, one of the JHS Top 10 and is the 2026 JHS Valedictorian. He has been a dual enrollee at the University of the Cumberlands and plans to major in Pharmacy at South College.

The Jellico High School Association started in 1986 and will celebrate its 40th annual Jellico High School Alumni Association Homecoming during this 250th anniversary of the United States.
The excitement starts Thursday, September 17, and goes through Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the school. Everyone is invited so please mark your calendars and join our celebration.
