JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell County Commission held its workshop on Monday evening, building the agenda for next week. Budget amendments, grant contracts, grant applications and recognition of several departments will be voted on on Monday, June 15.
Budget amendments that the Budget and Finance Committee has recommended for approval include several related to the school district’s general fund.
Another budget amendment relates to the county’s expectation to receive $61,566.05 in reimbursement from the state for the May 5th primary election.
The ambulance service has been awarded $26,960.92 by the LaFollette Medical Foundation for the purchase of a Zoll Autopulse resuscitation system. This award requires a budget amendment as well.
Additionally, applications for a 2027 litter grant, and approving grant contracts between the state and the Campbell County Health Department will be voted on as well.
In other business, commissioners plan to recognize the Campbell County Health Department, as well as Campbell County libraries.
County Mayor Jack Lynch reported that the Oak Grove Boat ramp TVA ribbon cutting will be held on June 15th and that commissioners were invited to that event. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-06/09/2026-6AM)
