JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Campbell County’s Regional Planning Commission met on Thursday evening at the courthouse for its March meeting, with multiple minor lot subdivisions being approved.

First approved was a minor lot subdivision for Kove Properties LLC. on South High Knob Road at La Follette.

According to County Planner Jordan Rockwell, he recommended approval. 

Also approved was a minor lot subdivision for Rickie Scott Owens on White Rock Road at Jacksboro.

Owens is purchasing three acres from the neighbor and adding it to his own property. Rockwell recommended approval. 

A minor subdivision was approved for Steven Lentz on Cove Hollow Road at La Follette. Rockwell recommended approval and said he had looked at it and that it had an easement on it that met the county’s standards by saying all owners were responsible for maintaining the easement. 

Also approved was a minor lot subdivision for the Ellison Property on Mount Paran Road at Jacksboro. Rockwell said “it looked good” and he recommended approval.

Planning commission members also approved a minor lot subdivision for Fields Development on Doe Lane at La Follette.

It is for a condo development of 27 total units, which will be sold to individual homeowners.

Final business approved was a minor lot subdivision for Cody Pennington on Frontier Road at La Follette. 

According to Rockwell it fits the county’s criteria and everything is good with septic. It is a simple separation of the property into two lots and he recommended approval.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-03/07/2025-6AM)
