The first Minor lot subdivision approved was for Larry Overbeek on Willow Tree Lane at Jacksboro.

Approval was recommended by the county planner.

“I don’t see any issues with it; it’s a simple minor lot subdivision,” said County Regional Planner Jordan Rockwell.

The second item approved was for Donald Marlow on McDeerman Road at Jacksboro.

“It was presented as a four lot subdivision but they have changed it to a three lot subdivision,” said County Planning Commission Chair Rusty Orick.

Orick said that while he doesn’t usually like things that are changed at the very end, he knew Rockwell had looked at it and was okay with it.

Rockwell also recommended approval of this minor lot subdivision.

Final business approved on Monday evening was for a minor lot subdivision for John and Sharon Perkins on Ridge Road at Caryville.

“They have an easement on the plat with a note on the plat on who is responsible for the easement. It looks good and I don’t have any issues with it,” Rockwell said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-02/04/2025-6AM)
