CIty Council, LUB to hold special called workshop on Tuesday

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- On Tuesday afternoon, the LaFollette City Council will have two special meetings beginning with a workshop at 3:30 pm, at City Hall.

The first meeting is a special called council and LUB workshop. There are three items on the agenda for discussion. The first item is a special audit for the LaFollette Utility Board. Next is an update from the LaFollette Utility Board on utility cuts, fire hydrants, leaking water valves, overgrown vegetation on power poles, sewer and water risers, and status on sewer plant. The final item slated for discussion is a discussion on workshop and meeting dates for the LaFollette Utility Board.

The next special called meeting is scheduled for 4 pm for the council. There is one item on the agenda. That item is the approval of a special audit for LaFollette Utility Board.
