He was born July 25, 1974, in Dalton, Georgia, to the parents of Billy and Linda Marlow. Chris was known to be a loving kind person who was liked by many and hated by a few.

Chris was most known for his love of sports and especially with coaching basketball. Most knew him as coach Chris. On this journey of remembrance, we celebrate both the public figure who led teams to victory and the individual who believed in each person’s potential. Chris leaves behind a legacy of leadership, inspiration, and kindness. He touched the lives of many with his generosity and compassion. He was more than a coach; he was a mentor, a friend, and a role model. As a coach, Chris was a source of endless support and inspiration. He celebrated victories, guided many through challenges, and made each of child feel valued. Chris’s love for basketball and dedication to his team was truly exceptional.
Chris was a loving husband and father who enjoyed fishing, coaching youth sports, and spending time with family. He was of the Baptist faith and was ready to meet the Lord.
