Chamber’s Tackett tells of 2027 MLF tourney coming here

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Campbell County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Director Missy Tackett delivered a brief update of the latest happenings at the Chamber.

She reported that the Chamber’s annual meeting was held in June and that “Leadership Campbell County is off and running.”

The next Chamber Coffee Connection is Thursday at 8:30am at the Powell Clinch Utility District main offices at PCUD’s Rocky Top location.

She told commissioners news of a Major League Fishing tournament came out last week. The event will take place next March and will showcase 50 of the top anglers in fishing here at Norris Lake at Lonas Young Park. HERE is the story about the MLF Tourney from WLAF.

“We are so excited for this; its going to be a big deal and a really great time for Campbell County to shine. We will be getting a lot of exposure for tourism for Campbell County,” Tackett said.
