‘I’m really proud of these teams’- Campbell Head Tennis Coach Rusty Fields

KNOXVILLE, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell County High School Lady Cougar Tennis Team is on its way to the regional tournament while the Cougars tandem of Will Croley and Davide Marcosano won the District 3-AA Tournament Doubles Championship.
Campbell competed at West Hills Courts at Knoxville on Friday afternoon.

The Lady Cougars lost in a tiebreaker and fell in a second set 6-3. The girls team advances to the regional playing on May 4.
Cougars Will Croley and Davide Marcosano won the doubles championship over Halls 6-0 and 6-2. Lady Cougars Reagan Davis and Preslee Chapman finished second in doubles to Halls.

“I’m really proud of my girls. They played really hard, and they got so much better this year. Will and Davide have played great all year,” said Coach Rusty Fields.
The Cougar Tennis team takes on Halls at West Hills Courts on Tuesday. The winner will claim the District 3-AA Tennis Tournament Championship and advance to the regional tournament.
