  1. God bless you Eddie and the family .Bertha was a great person and totally dedicated to her family. She was one of my assistants when I was elected as the County Executive. She was an excellent worker.

  2. Eddie, God bless you and your family members. Bertha and you seemed like just dating when I first met Bertha. She was always kind and a set-up to all of the police department and fire department. She will be missed Eddie always being by your side. I love you unconditionally just like Bertha loved everyone. Were here for you and your friends always felt like part of your family. God bless you.

  3. I worked with Bertha at the Courthouse many years ago when she was still Bertha Daugherty. We became friends and remained that way and laughed often about the “Courthouse years.” When I first saw my wife at the Courthouse, Bertha said, “Don’t even think about asking her out, Powers – you don’t have a chance.” We just celebrated our 38th anniversary and Bertha and I laughed about that many times. She will be missed and I will always remember the good times we had. We will keep Eddie and the family in our prayers. Our hearts are broken and we will never forget her, but we will get to see her again one day.

  4. Eddie, We send our condolences to you and family , though we only met Bertha a few years ago we could see that she filled your heart with joy and happiness, she made you complete, whole, remember all the happy joyous times together. Eddie God bless you and your family members.
