Albert (Al) Russell, age 86, of Jacksboro, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was a member and deacon of Indian Mound Baptist Church, Jacksboro Masonic Lodge, Knoxville Shriners, and Caryville Eastern Star. He served in the U.S. Army and worked at the National Cash Register in Dayton, Ohio, for almost 10 years. When he moved back to Tennessee, he started his own business, Russell Plumbing and Electric, and ran it for 30+ years.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Andy and Octavia Russell; his Sisters, Betty Campbell, Rilda Eldridge, Lucy Litte, and Dottie Eldridge; and his Brothers, Arthur, Walter, Paul, Elmer, Malcum, and Luther Russell.

Survived by:

Wife of 62 years, Wanda Russell

Daughter: Elisa (Loyall) Owens

Son: Jeffrey (Sheila) Russell

Granddaughter: Katie Owens

Grandsons: Ryan Owens, Jonathan Russell

Sister-in-Law: Loreta Hinds

Brother-in-law: Luther (L.V.) Cox

Brother: James Edward (Rhonda) Russell

Many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will meet at 11 AM Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for Graveside Service and Interment, Rev. Jim Heatherly Officiating. Military Honors are given by the Honor Guard of Campbell County.
