Four CCHS students accepted into Governor’s School

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Campbell County High School has four students accepted into Governor’s School; this is a “historic event for CCHS”, according to school officials.

Jace Huddleston and Noah Campbell are both attending the Governor’s School for Music at MTSU. Emma Lawson is going to UT Knoxville for Science and Engineering and Kainoa Morton is headed to the Governor’s School for Agriculture at Tennessee Tech.

Construction takes place between Caryville and Rocky Top

CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- There’ll be slowdowns on I-75 today and Tuesday from 8am until 8pm between Caryville and Rocky Top/Lake City.

Clearing and clean-up dates set for on top of hill at TSR Center

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- “We’re going to be clearing and cleaning up on top of the hill,” said Todd Hatmaker with the Towe String Road Convenience Center. That area, only, will be closed from 11am on Friday, March 27 through Saturday, March 28, according to Hatmaker.
