Name released in last week’s fatality

JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- The name of the person who died after being struck by a car last week has been released.

Barbara Carol Aldridge,70, was walking on Myers St., in Jacksboro when the accident occurred, according to authorities. The car had just turned onto Myers St. when it came in contact with Aldridge, officials said. The accident occurred just before 7:30am on Thursday.

Aldridge was taken to UT Hospital where she later died from her injuries.
