Gas prices increase for the first time since May 19

CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (WLAF)- Gasoline prices around Campbell County topped out at $4.05 for a gallon of regular, self-service, unleaded on May 19 at $4.05. Two days later, the price slipped to $4.03 and have slowly, but steadily dropped since. That was until Thursday’s jump at the pump.

The lowest price for gasoline was down to $3.12. Thursday opened at that price and then it changed up in the day to $3.29.

Five years ago, we were paying $2.72 a gallon while in 2016, the best price around was $1.88. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-07/10/2026-6AM)
