Early voting begins three weeks from today, July 17

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Here’s your first peek at the August 6, 2026, sample ballot. Early voting begins on Friday, July 17.

Tuesday, July 7, is the last day to register to vote. Applications are available at the office of the Campbell County Election Commission at 129 Church Alley, Jacksboro, or you can register on demand here. 

Also, the November 3, 2026, Election is coming up, and the first day to pick up petitions for that race was last Monday, June 22, “We currently have no candidates who have picked up a petition,” said Mallory Rosenfeld, Administrator of Elections for Campbell County.

The qualifying deadline is August 20, 2026, 12pm, for the Nov. 3, election. It’s worth noting, candidates for the Nov. 3, race can not pick up during the early voting hours from July 17, 2026, thru August 1, 2026, at the Election Commission, according to Rosenfeld.

“Our office advises that if you are interested in becoming a candidate for the November 3, 2026, Election, please come before early voting begins or after it ends,” said Rosenfeld. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-06/26/2026-6AM)
