LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- An asphalt project on Flat Hollow Road turned tense when an asphalt roller overturned injuring the driver.
It was a little before 2pm Wednesday when the accident involving the Campbell County Highway Department equipment and an employee occurred in the 3000 block of Flat Hollow Road. That’s near Lumber Lane east of La Follette.
A medical helicopter was called with plans to touch down at Well Springs. However, after further evaluation of the patient’s condition, the med chopper was cancelled. Instead, the patient was transported by Campbell EMS to the La Follette Medical Center, according to CCRFS Chief Daniel Lawson.
