This week’s WLAF “Business of the Week”

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- When Jeremy Johnson is not busy keeping you rolling, he’s keeping an eye on the latest Tennessee score no matter what the sport. Johnson, a 10 year Campbell Countian by way of his birthplace, Chattanooga, and his wife Nancy welcome you to Volunteer Auto Fix and would be honored to handle your vehicle repairs.

Jeremy works in the back, the garage, while Nancy handles the front office. For those of you of a certain age, you know the location as Claiborne Oldsmobile-Cadillac-Buick at the corner of West Central Avenue and North 13th Street across from Lyons Liquor Locker.

Since high school and tech school Jeremy has been repairing just about anything with wheels and an engine. “I began doing a lot of dealership work after graduation, and in 2023, I decided to go out on my own,” said Jeremy Johnson.

“I’m hands on here. I call it the personal touch. We do basic work and work on pretty much everything,” said Johnson, who is a certified ASE and GM master technician.

Jeremy is not the only Johnson with repair shop experience. His wife, in their husband-wife owned and operated business, has 10 years experience in the repair service business. “She handles service writing and beyond,” said Jeremy.

Volunteer Auto Fix is at 516 West Central Avenue and is open from 8am until 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The telephone number is 423.201.9082 and email is volunteerautofix@gmail.com.
