Cougar Tennis claims District 3-AA’s regular season title

Campbell’s doubles team of Will Croley and Davide Marcosano finish the district schedule undefeated

KNOXVILLE, TN (WLAF)- After sweeping the Panthers at Cumberland Gap on Tuesday, Campbell Tennis took its brooms and rackets to the West Hills Courts on Thursday. Then the Cougars and Lady Cougars proceeded to sweep Central to close out the regular season.

Coach Rusty Fields Cougars enter the district tournament as the number one seed with an 8 & 2 overall record. It was a 5 & 5 finish for Fields Lady Cougars.

The Cougars will play Halls next week with the winner taking the district 3-AA tournament title.
