JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- The Campbell County Planning Commission will meet Monday at 6pm. Among the items of the agenda is a variance request for the ‘Elkstone at Lake Norris’ proposed development.

I am opposed to this development due to the situation on NORRIS LAKE at this time. The lake traffic has outgrown the lake itself. It is dangerous to even be on the lake at times due to the number of boats and uneducated operators. Our shoreline continues to be dangerously erroded due to the traffic. Our roads in peak season are not equiped to handle the vehicle traffic also. This developement should not be allowed to continue just to line the pockets of people.
