Hubert Lee Rutherford, age 80 of LaFollette

Hubert Lee Rutherford, age 80 of LaFollette Tn went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2025. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Agee and Walters Furniture Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Rutherford; son, Leroy Rutherford; mother, Carrie Rutherford; brothers, Larry, Roger, and Paul Rutherford; and sister, Brenda Rutherford.

He is survived by Son, Michael Rutherford

Great-Grandchildren, Dewayne Ward, Jacob Ward, Ryan Seals

Brother, Dave and Greg Rutherford

Sisters, Diane Dilbeck, Pamela Lemarr, and Freda Hatmaker

Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank LaFollette Medical Center, LaFollette Health and Rehab and Amedisys Hospice for all the wonderful care given to Hubert.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 Saturday December 27, 2025, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00PM in the chapel of Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Lester Bolton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00AM Sunday December 28, 2025, to go in procession to Peabody Cemetery for a Graveside and Internment.
