Gylann Kent Silcox, age 69, of LaFollette

Gylann Kent Silcox, age 69, of LaFollette, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Born March 11, 1956, Gylann was a proud U.S. Army veteran, and a man deeply devoted to his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend—known for his strong work ethic, compassion for animals, and unwavering support for those he loved.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Hawkins; wife, Tammy Silcox; daughters, Nikki Stephens (Rodney) and Kendra Burfield; stepdaughter Brandy Shelton; grandchildren Alexis, Lauren, Addisen, and Blane; great-grandchildren Blakely, Wesley, Londyn, and Emitt; step-grandson Alex; brother Greg Silcox (Donna); and many extended family members.

Gylann will be remembered for his loyalty, quiet generosity, and deep love for his family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to begin at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery with Military Honors to be conducted by the Honor Guard of Campbell County.
