Harold Cox, age 78 of Caryville

Harold Cox, age 78 of Caryville, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Waters of Clinton. He was born on July 29, 1947 to the late Esco and Betty Chamblee Cox in Fratersville. He was a US Army veteran having served in Vietnam. Harold was a loving husband and father and will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Almetis Cox; and daughter, Beatrice McMahan.

He is survived by: siblings, Janice Mowery and husband David, David Cox, Richard Cox, Tommy Cox, Johnny Cox and wife Karen, Steve Cox, Tim Cox, Virginia Saunders and husband David, Mark Cox, Tresea Hipsher, Danny Cox and wife Teresa; several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
