Dorsey Clinton Hatfield, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. He was a loving father who loved to travel, ride 4-wheelers in the mountains, and help people.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvis and Dora Marlow Hatfield; daughter, Bonnie Wilburn; brothers, Lonas, Dewey, Alvis, and Floyd Hatfield; sisters, Hazel Collins, Georgia Evans, Anna Lee Chadwell, Katherine Wier, and Lillie Marlow.

Dorsey is survived by his son, James Davis, and wife Beverly; special son, Sabastian Lowry; designated other, Cecile Morris; 6 grandchildren, and multiple great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ronnie “Bo” Freeman officiating.  Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family has entrusted the care of Dorsey Clinton Hatfield to Martin Wilson Funeral Home, “Where Families Matter Most.”
