The passing of Leon Mefford of South Paris, Maine, born in Caryville, Tennessee leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 83.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mefford and Nora Mefford; his wife Joy; his son Troy; his grandson Tyler; and his sisters, Margaret, Mary and Lillie.

He is survived by: his daughters, Terri (Steve), Stephanie (Shannon), Kim and Angela (Mat); his grandchildren, Brittany (Brian), Montana (Josh), Sydney (Tristan), Jacob (Cora), Madison (Trey) and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Isabelle (Jackson), Brayden, Brody, Waylon and Charlotte; his siblings, Tom, Marlena, Joe and Jackie; and his friend Brian Paradis.

A masonic service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery.

Togus – Leon Mefford, 83, of South Paris, died peacefully in the early morning of August 6 at Togus Springs hospice house due to complications from Alzheimer’s.
