Jack C. Lay, age 88, of LaFollette, TN, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at home surrounded by loving family, following an extended illness. Jack was a long-time member of LaFollette Church of God. He was the owner of C & C Home Furnishings for over 50 years. Jack is preceded in death by Parents: Samp and Hester Lay, Sisters: Helen Hill, Betty Woods, Irene Davis, Brothers: Joe Lay, Paul Lay.

Survived by:

Wife: Pat Asbury Lay

Daughter: Heather Lay Perry and husband Jon Perry

Sons: Michael Lay and James (Hoss) Ladd

Grandchildren: Jaxson, Maddox, Levi, Courtney, Haley

Sister: Sara Powers and husband Billy

Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and relatives.

The family would like to thank UT Hospice, LaFollette Church of God and Cross-Smith Funeral Home for their support and service.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday, July 31st, 2025, at LaFollette Church of God with funeral service to follow at 7 PM, Bishop Michael Dent and Rev. George Asbury Officiating.
