Walter “Joe” Wills

Born in Louisville, Ky.  Shortly after graduating high school, Joe joined the USMC.  After leaving, he joined the Louisville Police Dept and served for 28 years before retiring. 

Joe and his wife, Sandy, moved to a mountain in Tennessee.  He loved nature, all the animals that adopted them, and the quieter life they found here.

Joe was a loving, generous man who loved feeding people.  He was funny and loved drawing cartoons of friends and loved ones.

He passed peacefully at the nursing home and is now in the arms of his Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Evelyn Wills, brother, Bill Wills, sister, Grace Wright (Jim), son, Patrick Wills, daughter, Jackie Wills.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy, sister, Linda Stosberg (Tom), daughter Angela, and grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Honoring Joe’s wishes, there will be no service.

The family has entrusted the care of Walter “Joe” Wills to Martin Wilson Funeral Home “Where Families Matter Most”.
