House fires Sunday night, Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon; two at Sudenny

Firefighters with Campbell County Rural Fire Service, Caryville Volunteer Fire Department and La Follette Fire Department responded to Thursday’s structure fire in the Sudenny area.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Firefighting crews from the Campbell County Rural Fire Service along with crews from La Follette fire Department and Caryville Volunteer Fire Department cleared a structure fire around 3pm Thursday. The fire was in the Sudenny area, and there were no injuries. “This is our third house fire we have worked this week,” said CCRFS Captain Daniel Lawson.

Campbell County EMS and Campbell County Sheriffs Department were also on scene.

“Sunday night we had one on South 25W then yesterday (Wednesday) morning, and we had one on South Sudenny,” said Lawson.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- It was reported to WLAF News that a mobile home on South Sudenny Lane went up in flames around 5am Tuesday. Deputies with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office first arrived describing to a Central Dispatch operator that several propane tanks were on fire, according to reports.

Nearby homes were being threatened, according to one deputy.

Firefighters with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service responded along with mutual aid from the La Follette Fire Department. An LUB crew member also responded along with the CCSO.

It’s not been said if anyone was at home at the time of the fire following the call of a neighbor about the fire.

There were no injuries.
