Cold rain changes to snow and back to rain and then back to snow
LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Rain will change to snow on Friday afternoon with scattered snow showers continuing through Friday night. A dusting to one-half inch of snow will be possible across Campbell County, the plateau and lower elevations of northeast Tennessee, mainly on grassy surfaces, car tops and roof tops. Ridgetops and higher peaks may have localized amounts up to 1 inch of snow.

Saturday and Sunday will be dry and cold before a warming trend begins Monday. Rain and 50s highlight Christmas.
Slow down and use caution if traveling across the higher elevations Friday afternoon and night. Be prepared for the possibility of ice and snow covered roadways. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-12/20/2024-6AM)
