Wet, spring-like weather turns cold by week’s end

Highs in the 60s become highs in the 30s before the week is out

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Breezes and cold rain open Monday with temps in the 40s and mist and fog around. However, the day warms up a tad. Mild temperatures persist through Wednesday, with temperatures climbing into the low 60s for highs.

A strong cold front arrives Wednesday night and will usher in cooler air, and temperatures will steadily decrease each day through the remainder of the week into next weekend.

Tuesday will be mainly rain-free through the day before rain redevelops Tuesday night lingering into Wednesday. Much colder air chases the rain away Wednesday night as the low slips to 36. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-12/16/2024-6AM)
