Veterans struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues can now receive help from the court system. In honor of Veterans Day 2024, Eighth Judicial District Criminal Court Judge Zachary R. Walden has announced the launch of a Veterans Treatment Court, designed to address the unique challenges faced by veterans who struggle with mental health issues and substance abuse. McDonald’s is coming to LaFollette. The City of LaFollette and the international fast food favorite engaged in extended discussions about the project, according to City of LaFollette Administrator Stan Foust. The project has been in progress for most of 2024 with only a few details left to finalized as the year drew to a close. CLICK HERE for the full story.

A construction project at TCACT will double the technical college’s size from its current 48,000 square feet to 96,000 square feet and will provide room for additional programs and student growth. For more information CLICK HERE.
