Marvin Arnold Ford, age 77, of LaFollette passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. He was born October 23, 1947, in LaFollette to Newman and Evelyn Ford. Marvin was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Jacksboro Lodge #322, and Caryville Order of Eastern Star #415, where he served in various offices. He had retired from Campbell County Schools Maintenance Department where he had served for 30 years retiring as foreman. Marvin and two friends Doyle Huckaby and David “Hollyball†Hall founded and were charter members of a car club that would later become the LA Cruisers. Preceded in death by his parents, sister: Teresa Ford, brother: Bill Ford, special nephew: Wendell Bailey, grandparents: Byrd and Mary Ford, Archie Moffett and Pearl Woodson, in-laws: Gilford H. and Mabel Burris Lovely who loved him as a son.

Special Aunt: Judy McCarter
The family will receive friends 12-2 PM, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow with Rev. Jim Mullins officiating. Interment to follow funeral service at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery.
