Veltina Phillips, age 93, of Caryville went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Beech Fork Baptist Church for 79 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and caregiver to her family. She loved to quilt, cook, plant flowers and work in the garden. She is preceded in death by her loving husband: Arlie (Dock) Phillips, parents: Henry and Flora Tackett, son: Jesse Phillips, grandsons: Michael Berry and Jamie Phillips, great-granddaughter: Breanna Bullock and Mia Bunch.

Daughters: Pearl Ward, Mary (Danny) Berry, Anita Gibson, Rebecca (Matthew) Ward, Belinda (Junior) Marlow

Sons: Don Phillips, Kenny Phillip

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Beech Fork Baptist Church with Rev. C. W. Fraker officiating. Interment to follow funeral service at Beech Fork Cemetery.
