Kenneth Dewayne Hatmaker, 86, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024, in Ocala, Florida.

Born on June 27, 1938, in La Follette, TN, Kenneth was the son of the late Harley and Ellen Hicks Hatmaker. He proudly served his country in the Army Reserve for 8 years before dedicating over 26 years to a career at Chrysler Corporation, from which he retired. Following his retirement, Kenneth moved to Ocklawaha, FL, where he spent his days fishing on Lake Weir and playing cards. Known for his strong principles and steadfast beliefs, he was a man of great character.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved companion, Sue Roberts of Ocklawaha, FL his daughter, Angela Hatmaker Wells (Pat) of Cookeville, TN; his son, Mark Hatmaker (Lisa) of Middletown, OH, and Sue’s daughters Janelle and Michelle; his brothers, Eugene Hatmaker (the late Clara Mae) of La Follette, TN, and Ray Hatmaker (Barb) of Cleveland, TN. He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Aaron, Ashley, Sara, and Justin, and four great-grandchildren: Aiden, Ezra, Quinn and Nora

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Clara Mae Hatmaker, and his nephew, Matt Hatmaker.

Family and friends will meet 12 Noon Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens in La Follette, TN., for 1 PM Graveside Services and Interment, Rev. Scott Bullman officiating.
