CCHS JROTC took 5th place in the tire stacker competition.

CLARKRANGE, TN (WLAF)- Campbell County JROTC students competed at the Clarkrange Raider Competition on August 24th, earning numerous awards and wins, including 4th overall Male division, first place in the Truck and Pull Run and second in the Rope Bridge.

According to JROTC Instructor Major Mike Lester, “It was a great competition hosted by the Clarkrange JROTC. Campbell County students “did an outstanding job.”

CCHS JORTC won first place in the Truck Pull and Run and took 2nd in Rope Bridge at the Clarkrange Raider Competition.

Cadets competed against other top teams at the competition; “four of the teams were top four overall finishers at Raider Nationals last year.”

It was the first competition of the year “running a Coed Team in a Male Division “to raise competition and make the team stronger.”

“It was a new team and cadets, and they did outstanding work. The students did awesome as always,” Lester said.
