Sharon Elaine “Lainie” White, a beloved lifelong resident of LaFollette, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 after a brief illness. She was a proud graduate of Campbell County High, class of ’83. Sharon’s dedication to her community and her work left an indelible mark.

For over 30 years, Sharon was an integral part of Whiteco, Inc., where she took great pride in crafting aircraft parts for Boeing. Her commitment to excellence and detail were evident in everything she did.

Sharon’s heart belonged to her nephew Chris, and her nephew Tyler. Her bond with her best friend forever, Ryan Turner was unbreakable; he stood by her side throughout her illness, offering unwavering support.

Sharon’s compassion extended well beyond humans. She had a deep affection for animals, especially her pups! Their wagging tails and unconditional love brought her immense joy.

In her passing, Sharon joins her parents, Novella and Jack, as well as her sisters, Sherry and Sheila, and her aunts Jaunita “Neek” and Toby. Sharon’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, forever.

The family extends a very special thank you to her bff, Ryan Turner and his spouse Steven Daniel, as well as Sharon’s dear friend, Sunshine.

In Sharon’s memory, please consider making a small donation to Young-Williams Animal Center in Knoxville.

A celebration of life will take place at a later time.

Fly high, Lainie.
