Linda Lorene Jones, age 72 of Duff passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at U.T. Medical Center. She was born on May 11, 1952. Linda enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing, shopping, and being a mischievous mom and nee nee. She also attended New Freedom Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Jones Sr.; son Larry Wayne “Flash” Jones Jr.’ parents Harold and Leona Huddleston and Matt and Verna King; and brothers Buster Wilburn and Kenny Huddleston.                                                                                           

Linda is survived by her daughters Melinda Poore and husband Ronnie of Duff, Tammy Stratton and husband Barry of LaFollette; and Laura Lay and husband Andy of Duff; grandchildren Megan Dishner and Jailey Phillips; great grandchildren Cooper and another on the way Amiyah Lin Jane; brother Tim Huddleston; loved like daughters Tasha Pennington and Lynn Rose; loved like grandchildren Leah Smith, Courtney Reynolds; loved like great grandchildren Cullen, Natalie, and Mattie; best friends Nona Hatfield, Sandra Kidwell, Debbie Price, Pearlie Kennedy, and Peggy Walden; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Wade Walls reading the obituary and family and friends to share stories. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Oddfellow Cemetery for a 2:00 PM interment.
