Emma Green age 103 of Jacksboro, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Turkey Creek Medical Center. She was born on April 13, 1921, to the late Charlie Edmonds and Claudia (Godsey) Edmonds. Emma was a loving wife of 62 years and aunt that enjoyed going to church, gospel singing, fishing and telling stories.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Winston Green, brothers Charles Edmonds and Lewis Edmonds and sisters Marie Nunn, Maggie Nunn, and Helen Haynes.

Emma is survived by her nephews Francis Edmonds of Jacksboro and Monroe Edmonds and wife Vicky of Caryville, nieces Mary Lou and husband Ed of Newcomb and Lina Nunn of Williamsburg, Ky, and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. George Asbury officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Jacksboro Cemetery for a 10:00 AM interment.
