LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Lets look back more than 50 years ago at some of the boys of summer. After speaking with Garry Hensley and Dwight Crutchfield, they believe this image is from 1973.  

The Paint & Sporting Center, owned by the late Harold Turner, sponsored the team. “Sadly four of these players have passed, Ronnie Cordell, Larry Hensley, Mike Hill and David Chapman.

Back then, the Paint & Sporting Center was in one of the buildings across the highway from what now is David Bales Automotive.
