LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Campbell Sheriff’s Det. Sgt. Franklin Ayers directed the execution of a search warrant just after 6pm Thursday at a mobile home off Old Middlesboro Highway.

When investigators with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office arrived to 896 Glade Springs Road, they found 52-year- old David Wayne Norris outside the home slumped over inside a car. Ayers allegedly found a loaded semi-automatic handgun next to where Norris was slumped over and then located what’s believed to be marijuana and six Suboxone strips on Norris.

Det. Sgt. James McCall looked through Norris’ phone where there were allegedly messages discussing selling Suboxone strips. When McCall asked Norris if he sold Suboxone strips, Norris allegedly said “Ya, maybe,” according to the report from the CCSO.

Linda Sue Green
Linda Sue Green, 57, was inside the home, and had an active arrest warrant for violation of probation. A further search of the home netted three sets of digital scales containing residue. When Deputy Journey Williams placed Green inside her cruiser, a green pill was found beside Green.

James Franklin Norris
In the bedroom of 53-year- old James Norris, two Suboxone strips were allegedly found in a metal tube on the nightstand.
Green and the Norris brothers list 896 Glade Springs Road as their residence. All three were arrested.
The charges against the trio include possession of a schedule III controlled substance for James Norris while Green is facing tampering with or fabricating evidence, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, the manufacture-delivery-sell of a schedule III controlled substance and possession of a schedule VI controlled substance charges were levied against David Norris.
