L.A. Cruizers host first downtown cruize-in of the season on Saturday night

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The L.A. Cruizers hosted its first North Tennessee Avenue cruize-in Saturday evening. ” The turn out is great,” said Jim Pierce, club member.

Both sides of North Tennessee Ave were parked full from Central Avenue to Mill Street along with Peoples Bank of the South parking lot. The area is covered with some amazing rides, said one attendee.

Donald Douglas shows off his 1937 Buick that has the original paint and 61,693 original miles.

Chris Rose is with his self built 2009 Toyota Tundra along with his patriotic headliner. Chris said it took him 40 hours to install the headliner.

This Devilish Designs 1987 Toyota Hi-Lux air ride belongs to Matt Carroll.

Randy Baird won hands down for the bringing the biggest ride, his old school style cabover (flat nose ) Peterbilt semi truck.
