Oscar Lloyd Cox, age 87, of LaFollette, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023.  He was of the Baptist Faith.  He was preceded in death by Daughter: Tammy Cox, Grandchild: Angela Cox, Parents: Thomas and Lassie Jordon Cox, Brothers: Everett, Wayne, Thelmore, and James Cox, Sisters: Tennie Heatherly, Marcella McNeely, and Dorothy Chadwick.

Survived by:

Wife: Martha Ann Turner Cox

Daughter: Edwina Sutton

Sons: Greg and wife Margie Cox, Danny Cox, and Tim Cox

Grandchildren: Ashley Cox, Amber Sutton

4 Great-Grandchildren: Johnny Sutton, Scarlett Hale, Haven Pigg, Braxton Hale

Brothers: Frank Cox and Benny Cox

Several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Wednesday, July 12th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Wade Walls officiating.  Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Thursday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for an 11 AM Interment.
