Bishop and Karns upset the Cougars a season ago in a nail biter at Dossett Stadium. The Beavers are back in town tonight to take on the state ranked Cougars in a key region match-up.

Children Center's fundraiser moves to WLAF-TV 12 and viral format

LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) - Due to the rising COVID cases and in an effort to keep Campbell County citizens safe, the Campbell County Children’s Center has decided to move its in person upcoming fundraiser to a virtual format on Tuesday, Oct. 5.  This format will be similar to the No Show Black Tie Gala that was held virtually back in the Spring 2021.    


School board adds teaching positions; enrollment rising

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) - The Campbell County Board of Education voted Tuesday night to approve seven new teaching positions and five special education teaching assistants as a result of increased enrollment in Campbell County schools this year after several years of declining enrollment.


Taylor free on $300,000 bond, wife stays jailed on $300,000 bond

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) - A search warrant was executed at 131 Ginnie Lane, LaFollette, last Friday by the Campbell County Sherriff’s Department.  While searching the property, deputies found several items that led investigators to believe David Taylor and Amber Taylor were selling several types of narcotics from the home.


Postmark Jamboree is Sat., Sept. 25 this month

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) - Given the La Follette High School "Best of Times V" event taking place this weekend, organizers with Postmark Jamboree have moved the jamboree up a week this month.
