BSA Troop 310, volunteers and City of La Follette employees pick up pounds and pounds of litter

ll those helping to pick up litter on Thursday posed for a picture before their pick-up project began.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Members and leaders with Boy Scout Troop 310, volunteers and city employees kicked off the City of La Follette’s April clean-up fix-up month campaign on Thursday morning.

Liberty Park was one of the several areas where litter was collected. Left to right here are Rodney Calver, Morgan Alexander, Chris Thacker, Braden Brown and Crystal Thacker.

“It certainly was a wonderful experience to be able to work alongside them to help clean up around town and help kick off our fix up cleanup for the month of April,” said Johnny Byrge, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of La Follette.

“Here is a before and after picture of Bluff Road, and I extend a big thank you to Boy Scout troop 310,” said Byrge.

Cole Fluhart is visiting from Ohio and wanted to be a part of group in the clean-up.
